Who we are, and what we do!​

Modutrol Pty Ltd (formerly Advanced Building Controls) was setup in 2009, our initial goal was just to provide commissioning and maintenance services to others controls vendors based here in Perth.

Unlike most DDC controls specialist, we have a full mechanical and electrical background of most HVAC services with over 25 years of knowledge with associated systems; so there is half the battle, as a controls company we should know your expectations, and you should be comfortable in knowing that we do understand what we are doing!

Buildings are expensive and so generally is the plant and equipment that is installed within them, knowing exactly how your plant should operate or indeed how it is intended to operate, to provide the most cost effective energy savings is important.

 

 

Its easy to find lots of bad advice!

As with any industry, the HVAC is no different, anybody can write software and engineer a controller to do something, but that is not the skill, knowing how to engineer a project and engineer it right is an art, and generally not one that is merely picked up on a few training courses.

We have been working with HVAC systems for many years, and not from just a controls point of view, we have at one time or another installed, maintained and overhauled these systems, this has allowed us to have an in depth knowledge of the inner workings, to most HVAC plant.

In the eight years that Modutrol Pty Ltd have been operating in Perth, we have provided solutions and assistance all of the major controls manufactures, such as Schneider-Electric, Honeywell, Siemens to name a few.

We have provided solutions for all types of systems, our speciality is system integration, and this allows us to provide our clients with 'Choice', we can select and choose products to suit "you" the customer, our policy is for the end user, not to be locked in with long term contracts, proprietary software and license agreements.

This allows you to take ownership of your system, to operate, update, and modify as you see fit.
