These are just some of the projects and work that Modutrol (formerly Advanced Building Controls) has undertaken for some of our client's, from standard commercial HVAC systems, we have assisted advanced integration requirements for offshore L&G processing platform to alternative energy saving schemes such as low temperature Phase Change storage plants, whatever your requirement we are able to assist you, going beyond the standard in the box thinking for generic plant.

OFON 2.

OFON 2 gas processing platform is located some 40Km of the coast of Nigeria, Advanced Building Controls was engaged to provide a solution for system integration for our client, whom were told it could not be achieved, here we sucessusfully engineered and integrated the TREND HVAC control system to the Allen Bradly PLC system for HVAC control on the platform.

CARROT FARM.

An unusual undertaking for us, aside from rebuilding the internal control systems of four air cooled glycol chillers, we took part in the design and implementation of a 1700KW phase change storage system, that was utilised to maintain the -15℃ water, required to maintain the carrot quality during processing.

GRAYLANDS SMS alarm system.

Utilising the Intelli-web Server, project started as an upgrade and rebuild to the some small sewerage pumping system, providing automated SMS alarming and warnings, the system has been expanded to provide engineers with operating conditions of kitchen fridges and freezers, fire alarm and even pharmacy fridge status to provided paging alarm messages to be sent, weekly logs and alarm conditions are also sent via Email.

SJOG Subiaco.

This project has been an ongoing for Advanced Building Controls, here we have updated controls and mech elec services for three main plant rooms, this includes installation of containment installation of VSD drives and new MSSB, and the complete onsite retro fit and upgrade of the main MSSB that has been installed since 1978, we also manufactured and installed complete new DDC control enclosures and wiring.
