This project was started following a detailed report carried out by Advanced Building Controls.

As a result of our investigations as part of a DDC upgrade for Siemens, we were engaged to carry out DDC installation, and mechanical electrical work direct for the SJOG hospital.

Over time we have completely retro fitted and upgraded three main plant rooms, this includes upgrade and installation of new containment, installation of new VSD drives, new supplies and complete rebuild of the existing MSSBs, supply manufacture of new additional MSSB and installation of sub main supplies.

Redesign and manufacture new heating plant controls.

Manufacture of new DDC control panels for Siemens Desigo control systems, this included installation of ancillary equipment, such as sensors, control valves etc.

The original main plant room MSSB was built and installed in 1978, with many modifications and additions carried out over the years.

With no up to date drawings or records, the entire main plant has been rebuilt and updated with practically no break at all to Hospital HVAC services.

Advanced Building Controls also provided initative idea to re arrange condenser pipework enable the system to be practically split into three autonomous systems, SJOG under took this advice providing them with additional massive energy savings!
